Annie Ruth Prince was born January 24, 1949, in Florence County, South Carolina, the beloved daughter of the late Willie James McCloud and Ella Mae McDaniel. She departed this earthly life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
Annie, affectionately called “Febbie”, by family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Florence County. She was employed with Allen University as a cook for many years. She also worked for the Adams Mark Hotel for several years before becoming employed with Northminster Presbyterian Church from which she retired after many years of dedicated service. She later became a caregiver to many where she used her love to care for others.
Annie never met a stranger, and she was a mother to many. She was loving, compassionate, kind, and caring. She loved to prepare delicious meals for her family and friends, and she enjoyed fishing. She loved life and lived it to its fullest. Though she is no longer physically with us, her loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Prince was also preceded in death by her husband, Jake Prince; a son, Charles Eric Prince; three brothers, Earnest, Thomas and Isaac Kennedy; one sister, Ruther Mae Kennedy; and a nephew, Henry Kennedy.
