Angela “Angie” Fersner Roberts was born December 6, 1971, the beloved daughter of the late Tyrone and Queen E. Johnson Fersner in Orangeburg, SC. She was called to glory on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Angela was educated in the public schools of Columbia, SC. She went to Eau Claie High School and later attended Columbia High School from which she graduated. She worked as a Team Leader at Carolina Culinary until her health declined.
She united in Holy Matrimony to David Roberts, Jr. on April 25, 1995; and their union was blessed with thirty years of love and devotion together.
Mrs. Roberts attended Word of God Church and Ministries in Columbia, SC. She had a love for reading and loved reading her Bible. Angie loved the Lord with all of her heart. Her faith was unwavering, her trust was solid, and her belief was strong. Her heart was pure and she loved everyone. Angie will be remembered for always spreading the Love of the Lord and sending out beautiful quotes every day to those she loved and cared for. She will be missed by all those whose lives she so lovingly touched.
Angie will lovingly be remembered by her loving husband, David Roberts, Jr.; four sons, Trey (Amber) Fersner, Deonte (Sulay) Roberts, Davon (Tiffany) Roberts, and Daniel Roberts, all of Columbia, SC; sister, Latoya Fersner; brother, Tyrone Fersner, Jr.; granddaughter, Zamira Roberts; stepson, David Goodwin of, Hopkins, SC; four sisters-in-law, Debra Roberts, Evelyn Roberts, Shaungta Roberts all of Columbia, SC, and Brenda Taylor of Hopkins, SC; maternal aunts, Shirley (Richard) Key, of Orangeburg, and Clayrine (Terry) Bradley of Stamford, CT; maternal uncles, James (Mercile) Johnson of Rowesville, SC, David (Joann) Johnson and Jimmy (Tracy) Johnson of Columbia, SC, and Dennis Johnson of Orangeburg, SC; paternal aunts, Helen Jones of Cordova, SC, and Edith (Joe) Hilliard of Santee, SC; paternal uncles, Alphonso (Linda) Fersner, and Earl (Barbara) Fersner of Orangeburg, SC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and dear all of whom loved her dearly.
