Mr. Alonza Perry was born on February 6, 1943 in Gainesville, Florida to the late Jay Perry and Jessie Mae Houston. Mr. Perry found eternal rest on Tuesday May 26, 2020 at Prisma Health Hospital.
Mr. Perry served in the U.S. Army and South Carolina National Guard. He retired from District One School System with over twenty-five years of service.
Mr. Perry was predeceased by his father, mother and daughter Brenda Perry.
He leaves to cherish his memories (5) daughters, Varonica Goodwin, Teresa Perry, Stacy Perry (George), Sangetta Coaxum, and Cynthia Newton; (8) grandchildren, Kimberlee Anazobi (Ifeanyi), Jarrell Taylor (La’Keishion), Ashley Perry, Nahzeriah Sims, Nyrobe Sims, Kendaesha Kindard, Kendarious Kindard and Kendarian Kinard; great granddaughter, Armani Byrd; sisters and brothers, Judy Tolbert, Patsy Legette, Bennett Perry, Cheryl Abner, Lafayette Perry, Bishop Willie Ross (Peggy), Joe Ross, Linda Rush (Bill), Debra Baker, and Wanda Blake; a very special friend, Barbara Perry and a host of other relatives and friends.
