Albert Benjamin Bouknight

Mr. Albert Benjamin Bouknight was born January 23, 1943, in Richland County, South Carolina,   the beloved son of the late Odell and Mahalia Bowie Bouknight.  He departed this life to join his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 18, 2024, at Holiday Forest Pines, in Columbia, South Carolina. 

Albert was educated in the public schools of Richland School District One, where he graduated from C. A. Johnson High School.  Upon graduating, he served proudly in the United States Army for three (3) years from which he received an Honorable Discharge.

Albert was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Though he is no longer physically with us, his loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all who loved and knew him.

In addition to his parents, Albert was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde, and  Ralph Bouknight; and sisters, Gail Bouknight, Elsie Calloway, Gussy Bouknight, Louise Manigo and Aldie Williams.

Those who will forever cherish fond and precious memories of Albert are his loving daughters, Sheila Sims, Angela (George) Green and Sonya (Millka) Gridine; ten (10) grandchildren; twenty-one (21) great-grandchildren; his caring brothers, Carl (Sophia) Bouknight, and Odell Bouknight; uncle, Joseph Bouknight; a host of nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friend, all of whom will dearly miss him.
