With deepest love, we celebrate the life of Adrian Damerius Ross, age 23, who peacefully passed away on August 28, 2025. Though his time with us was brief, his life was rich with laughter, joy, and purpose, and his memory will live on in all who knew him.
Adrian was born on October 25, 2001, in Columbia, South Carolina, the son of Keishelle Achong (Mom), Michael Ross (Dad) and Lewis Black (Father). He grew into a young man who was smart, gifted, and full of life. With his quick wit, big heart, and a laugh that could light up any room, Adrian brought joy everywhere he went. He was a true gentleman, known for his thoughtful gestures like giving bouquets of flowers and edible arrangements to those he loved. He also enjoyed playing video games and listening to music, passions that reflected his vibrant and creative spirit. Above all, Adrian was a loving son, a caring brother, a cherished grandson, a devoted nephew, and a loyal friend.
Adrian attended schools in Richland School District Two and graduated from Ridge View High School in June 2020. While in school, he not only excelled academically but also found joy and passion on the football field. As a proud member of the football community, Adrian played for the North Spring Steelers, Summit Parkway Eagles, Spring Valley High School Vikings, and Ridge View High School Blazers as a Wide Receiver and Cornerback, where his dedication, energy, and team spirit inspired those around him. His love for the game reflected the way he lived his life, with courage, enthusiasm, and determination. His self-motivation earned him recognition as one of the top three football players in the state of South Carolina. Upon completion of his high school education, Adrian attended Coastal Carolina University for two years and later worked for Tranes.
