Adonis Wesley Bowie

Adonis Wesley Bowie who was lovingly called “Doni” was born March 3, 2020, to Sibyl I. Bowie and Ob’Trann Freeman.  He passed away at the age of 3 years and 9 months, on Friday, November 3, 2023.   

Adonis was a very loving child who was medically complex in life from the very start of his life. His existence was compromised due to his illnesses, but even under those circumstances his smile and mannerisms would let you know that he felt your presence and your love. He will be dearly missed by all, but especially by his immediate family. He was loved dearly and adored by all who met him.

Adonis W. Bowie leaves to dearly cherish his memories his mother, Sibyl I. Bowie; his father, Ob’Trann Freeman;  loving brothers; Silas D. Cannady, Terran Freeman, and Trisitan Freeman; loving sisters, Londyn E. Bowie, and Makiya Freeman; his loving grandparents, Donald (Jessie) Bowie, and Noel (Barbara Jean) Simons; aunts, Karman (Mark) Wideman of McCormick, SC, Iris (Kenyetta) Riley of Charleston, SC, Ashley Bowie of McCormick, SC, and Megan (LaQuincy) Nelson of McCormick, SC, Denise Cary, and Sunni (Blake) Blake, Keisha Nesbitt; uncles, Octavius (JmMonica) Freeman, and Orlando Freeman; and a host of loving relatives and a large spiritual family and dear friends all of whom join the family in sharing the grief caused by his death.
