William Radden, Jr. Obituary

William Glenn Radden Jr. was born on September 16, 1959 in Wiirzburg, Germany to William G. Radden, Sr. and the late Eartha Mahone Radden. On Sunday night he slipped away and entered into eternal rest.

Billy was a smart young man and a very good athlete. In 1970, Fort Jackson started a Dixie Youth Football Program where Billy scored the 1st 2-point conversion in the league. From there he went to the old Columbia High School and graduated at the age of 15. Two years later “House Fly” joining the United States Army where he served his country for 7 years. Billy then took his talents to the City of Columbia working in the Parking Division in 1983, retiring in 2011 to spend more time with his beautiful wife, Pandora.

Billy was a fun and loving person and always had a nickname for everyone. He loved his family, especially his grands. He also had a big heart for his favorite team, the Clemson Tigers. He would talk so much junk to everyone about those tigers.

After Billy’s health started to decline, he still had a sense of humor and strong faith. He loved the Lord and knew he could overcome any obstacles. God knew it was time for him to come home Sunday night.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 32 years, Pandora, his sons, Roman (Miea) Marques, Antaan Radden, and William (Trey) Radden; his father, William Radden, Sr.; his brother, Dekota (Pam) Radden, Sr.; his granddaughters, Iyanna, Nyla, Nikta, Karla, and Isabella; grandsons, Jakai, and Kingston; one aunt, Marie Epps; four brothers-in-law, Asia Williams, Wilbur Tucker Jr., Gino (Neka), Mitchell (Kia); six sisters-in-law, Pam, Marie, Frankie, Faye, Melissa, and Sharon; and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
