William Conway Obituary
The son of Lillie Bell Conway Haynes, William K. Conway, known as “Dillie” was born on July 15, 1941 in Columbia, SC. He peacefully entered into eternal rest, October 26, 2018 at Emory Healthcare Hospital of Decatur, Georgia.
William Conway attended Booker T. Washington High School in the 1960’s. He was employed with Columbia Candy and Cigar.
He was preceded in death by his mother, his sister, Elizabeth Haynes, and his nephew, Edrick Moore.
He is survived by one sister, Ora Lee (William) Moore; two children, Shirley J. Conway (James L. King), and William K. (Lolita) Conway; a good friend, Mr. Samuel Govan, and a host of loving grandchildren who he loved dearly, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, a niece, two nephews, and other loving relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
