Wayne Derrick Jackson

Brother Wayne Derrick Jackson was born July 5, 1958 in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the fourth oldest child of the late Robert Cleveland Jackson and Willie Mae Jones Jackson. He departed this life on Monday, December 3, 2018.

Brother Jackson was educated in the public schools of Richland County, South Carolina and graduated from Eau Claire High School, Class of 1976.

Brother Jackson attended Bible Way Church of Atlas Road and Refuge Temple Church, Argent Court. He enjoyed music, spending time with family and friends and talking sports, especially basketball. He had a long struggle with Mental Illness for all his adult life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Willie Mae Jones Jackson; brothers, Stanley and Cleveland Jackson; nephew, Lonnie James Jackson, Jr.

Brother Jackson leaves to remember his presence:  Sisters, Florist Jackson Capers (William) Bowman, Andrena Jackson Williams, Joyce Jackson (David) Demary; Brother, Lonnie (Kathleen) Jackson; Step-Brothers, Robert “Butch” Jackson, Ernest “Buba” Gunter. A host of nieces and nephews; many other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
