Vanessa LaShay Barry

Vanessa LaShay Barry was born October 4, 1973 in West Palm Beach, FL. She was the daughter of Rachel Barry and Theophilus Barry. She departed this life at Palmetto Richland, Columbia, SC on Tuesday, December 25, 2018.

Vanessa accepted Christ in her life six months ago. Vanessa loved singing to her grandson (baby boy). She was very passionate about her job, cleaning and cooking. Vanessa never met a stranger she was a friend for life to everyone. She was employed by Millennium Post Acute Rehabilitation in West Columbia.

Those left to love and cherish her memories are a loving beautiful daughter, Destini “Baby Girl” Sanders; one grandchild, Jayce Carter Sanders; one brother, Theophilus Barry; three sisters, Vanetta Barry, her twin; Nikki Barry, and Mamie Barry; two aunts, Regina Barry, and Edwina Barry Williams; two uncles, Hastin Demeritte, Frank Barry; two great aunts, Allie Mae Knight, and Alma Nixon, and host of nieces and nephews, and other loving family and friends.
