Valerie Gandy

Ms. Valerie Angie Gandy, 47, of Irmo, SC was born September 1, 1970 to the union of Mr. Harvey Gandy and Mrs. Jaqueline Loretta Gandy, both of Irmo, SC.  She passed away peacefully Thursday morning, June 14th, 2018 in the comfort of her home.

Valerie was a member of the Greater Hopewell A.M.E. Church in Irmo, SC.  She attended the public schools of Irmo and graduated from Irmo High School.  Following high school, she matriculated into Winthrop University where she obtained a degree in Business Administration. Valerie enjoyed many interests including film, computers and a special love for animals.

Valerie leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Harvey and Loretta of Irmo, SC; brother Otis Gandy of Stone Mountain, GA; maternal grandmother, Ruby Thompson, of Irmo, SC; dear friend, Damon B. Ruff, four nieces and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
