Sheila Gunter

Sheila Diane Gunter, 60, of Columbia, SC went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2018. She was born November 6, 1958 in Miami-Dade, Florida to the late Arnold Arlington Davis Sr. and Elizabeth Whitaker.

Shelia graduated from Miami Jackson High School in 1977. She joined the US Army in 1978 until she was honorably discharged in 1985. She retired as a federal employee working for the military police. She received a Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies from Destiny Bible College and was working on completing her Master’s Degree. She was also a devoted minister at Final Authority Christian Church. Shelia embraced all of life graced to her from God.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clifton Gregory Gunter, and brothers, Arnold Arlington Davis, II, and Eugene McCrea.

Shelia Diane Gunter is survived by her son, Xavier (Jessica) Jenkins; grandchildren, Dylan A. Jenkins, and Toryn D. Jenkins; sisters, Yewanda Davis-Kendricks, Bridgette Davis, Ramona (Michael) Davis, and Juanita (Michael) McCrea-Alexander; a special uncle, Shaddy, and a host of relatives and friends.
