Sarah Wilson Obituary

Our heavenly Father blessed us with a precious Angel on November 17, 1959. Sarah, the second of five children, to the late Matthew (MC) and Rosie Lee Wilson. She was born in Vicksburg, MS but resided in many places as a military child, along with her siblings, Desire (Dee Dee), Georgiann, Matthew, Jr. (MC), and Rosemary.

She attended school at Ellison High School in Killeen, Texas. She enjoyed a full life and she was an Angel that touch the lives of many all across the world as she traveled from country to country with her parents.

Our Angel then settled in firm grounds in Columbia, South Carolina with her parents, and after the passing of her father, she moved to Jacksonville, FL.

She became a member of Zion Canaan Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Bobby L. Smith.

Left to carry on her legacy is her siblings, Desire (Grady), Georgiann (Douglass, Jr.), Matthew C. Wilson, Jr., and Rosemary Brooks.

Our Bossy Angel helped raise all of her nieces and nephews. They were so special to her and she loved them as if they were her own. She really loved them, they were her heart.

She is also remembered and loved by close relatives, Aunt Ann Brown (Poochie), Aunt Tommie Allen, Aunt Marvis Bryant, Uncle Curtis Wilson, and Aunt Faye Lampkins.

Our Angel loved her some Vincent Jewett, they have been together for over 15 years. She would call him “My Vincent.”

On the 16th day of February, it pleased God to have our Angel return to her heavenly home. So, today we celebrate the life, legacy, memory, and the homegoing of our Angel, Sarah (Babysister) Wilson.
