Sara was born July 30, 1962, in Salem, Rhode Island to Artimus Scott and Dorothy Gardner. She departed this life Monday, August 19, 2019, in Abbeville, SC at home with her family.
Sara was educated in the public school system of Richland County and graduated from Dreher High School. She was a homemaker with an energetic spirit that valued family and the simplicity of life. She was never a wallflower. She danced her way through life, so radiantly and confidently never missing a beat. Sara had a will to live. As she transitioned for this last dance, Sara will be remembered for her fearless personality, strength, and courage; all characteristics that represent her favorite colors: black and gold.
She was preceded in death by her son Foster Morris II, her father Artimus Scott, her mother Dorothy Gardner, and her grandmother “Ma” Geneva Ervin.
Sara Louise Morris leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory: her devoted husband Foster Morris Sr., children: Christopher (Candice) Morris, Michael Morris, Foster Morris III, and Sierra Morris of Abbeville, SC; grandchildren: Na’Tajah Morris, Ky’Leijah Morris, David Morris, Camille Morris, Christopher Morris Jr., Tregony Brown, Desire Brown, Zy’Keria Morris, Lorenzo Killingsworth Jr., Jamarion Killingsworth, E’milyahna Johnson, D’andre Morris, Ma’Liyah Morris, and Michaias Morris; stepmother: Dr. Linda Scott; siblings: Dorothy (Charlie) Lakin, Rosemary (Gregory) Harrison, Andre (Tashiba) Scott of Atlanta, GA., Natasha (Donald) Myles of Round Lake Beach, IL and Tarcia (Wilbert) Hill; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
