Roger Hallman was born June 5, 1951 to the late Juliet Goodwin and JoNathan Seawright. He passed away on December 27, 2018.
He was a truck driver for Moss Trucking and Owens Steel for over 20 years. He worked at Columbia Drywall before starting two of his own drywall companies – H&H Drywall and Integrity Drywall. Roger owned the Metro Stallions and Kershaw County Wildcats semi pro football teams. He was an ordained deacon at World Harvest Ministries and loved outreach ministry. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his mother Juliet Goodwin, father JoNathan Seawright, brothers Alton Hallman and Clarence Goodwin, best friend and brother-in-law Jesse Tyrone Strong, and childhood friend Estes Hightower.
His life and legacy will live on with: his loving wife of 34 years, Clarissa Anita Hallman; sons, Roger Eric (Abigail) Hallman (San Antonio, TX), Jonathan (Debbie Skelly) Hallman; daughter, Danielle (Gabriel Armstead) Hallman (Atlanta, GA); his pride and joys his grandchildren, Syriya (11), Lenelle (10), Daniel (9), Yadira (8); brothers, Ira (Joyce) Goodwin, Wayne (Diane) Burgess, Terry Burgess, Reverend Joseph Seawright, Eugene (Margaret) Seawright, Harry (Reverend Sherita) Seawright; sisters, Judy (Melvin) Coakley, Carol Goodwin, Louise (David) Myers, Joan Cook; and a host of family and friends that will all miss him dearly.
