Roberta J. Caughman, 88, was born in Columbia, SC, October 14, 1930 to the late Charlie and Lily Mae Jackson. She was raised in Jenkinsville, SC. Roberta passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at her home.
Roberta was a graduate of Benedict College and was an elementary school teacher in various Richland Two Schools. Roberta was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Jenkinsville and attended church regularly.
She was married to her late husband, Benjamin Caughman Sr. for 62 years.
Roberta J. Caughman is survived by two sons, Benjamin Caughman Jr., and Charlie Caughman, both of Columbia; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
