Phyllis C Truitt

Phyllis Christine Truitt was born December 11, 1954 to the late Dora Mae Wade and Phillip Finney.
She declared Christ as her Lord and Savior at Journey Church where she served faithfully until her untimely death on April 8, 2018 in Columbia, SC.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband of 30 years, Oliver A. Truitt; four children, three daughter: Kenya Finney, Kalish Truitt, Takara Peterson, one son: Olive (Ambrea) Peterson; a sister: Denise Finney of Chicago, IL; two brothers: Chris Finney, and Dwayne Finney both of Chicago, IL; 13 grandchildren: Brittaney, DeShawna, Kemble, Alayah, Jah’Kara, Zaniyah, Landyn, Oliver, Caleb, NaJane, Ava, Isaiah, and Samantha; a devoted God-sister: Annie Martin of Jackson, MS; seven sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law; one God-daughter: Audurey Amos; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
