Peggy A. Pitts

Peggy Ann Pitts was born September 10, 1955 in Newbery, South Carolina. She was the beloved daughter of the late Charlie Pitts and Sally Mae Williams. She was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Columbia, South Carolina.

Peggy was educated in the Newberry County Public Schools.

Peggy loved helping others. Her family and friends were important to her. She was a fun loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Though she no longer physically with us, her loving and kind spirit will forever live in the heart of all who knew and loved her.

Peggy was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Praylow of Columbia, SC.

Those left to cherish her fond memories are loving and caring son, John Aranda of Newberry, SC; brother, Charlie Pitts of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren, Quenten Aranda and Josh Dell; three nephews, Willie Praylow, Wayne Davis, and a devoted nephew, Zay’Vion Peterson; two devoted nieces, Angela Praylow and Sirenity Wilson; two great nieces, Xavius Praylow and Rhy’Shiria Praylow; daughter-in-law, Barbara Cloud; devoted friend, Willie McCalvin, and host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
