Maybelle Robinson was born March 2, 1964 in Holly Hill, Orangeburg County, South Carolina. She was the beloved daughter of the late Willie Mae Gilmore and the late Henry Fuller. She entered into eternal rest, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Palmetto Health in Columbia, SC.
Maybell best known by her family as “Pumpkin” graduated from Holly Hand Roberts High School. She furthered her education by studying within the sewing industry. At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She was member of the church.
Pumpkin loved singing and listening to Gospel music. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Her favorite color was purple. Her grandchildren brought her joy to her heart and also other children, especially those she worked with while a daycare director.
Maybelle was a devoted mother of three, Alexander Robinson, Anthony Robinson, and the late Pinesse Gilmore.
Maybelle leaves to cherish and carry on her legacy, two sons, Alexander Robinson, and Anthony Robinson, both of Columbia; four granddaughters, Destanni, De’Ziyer, Kenya, and Katie, all of Columbia; three grandsons, Deshawn, Dakari, and Jayden, all of Columbia; a sister, Sandra Lee Gilmore of Columbia; two brothers, Danny Lee Elmore, and Sammie Elmore, both of Columbia; an aunt, Dorothy Royster of Philadelphia, PA; two best friends, Kenneth Robinson, and Robert Ballard, both of Columbia; and a host of uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
