Markese Jones

Markese Jones was born, June 30, 1991 to Tonya Jones and Isaac Anderson in Columbia, South Carolina. Markese was taken frm this life into eternal rest at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial, Thursday, May 31, 2018.

Markese, affectionately known as “RED”, was educated in the Richland County School System where he received his GED.

Those who knew Markese knew he was loyal, funny, and easy to get along with. He loved to listen to his music and being with his family.

Markese was preceded in death by his grandmother, Peggy Jones, and great-grandparents, Rafus Jones and Mamie Jones.

Markese Jones leaves to cherish his precious memories his: two sons: Shel’jon Jones, and Maruiel Patterson; mother: Tonya Jones; two brothers: Chris Jones, and Anthony Jones; one uncle: Michael Jones; grandfather: Bennie London; great-grandmother: Lilamae Prescott Jones; 2 nieces; and a host of loving relatives and friends whom will all miss him dearly.
