Margaret Ann Bell Moore

Margaret Bell-Moore, affectionately known as “Marg” was born January 23, 1955 in Winnsboro, Fairfield County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Roberta Gibson Bell. After a lengthy illness, she departed this earthly life on Friday, September 7, 2018.

Margaret attended public school in Columbia, SC, graduating from Eau Claire High School. Marg joined County Grove Baptist Church at an early age, then left, but returned and became a faithful member, where she served as an usher.

Marg was a lover of many people. She had many friends and acquaintances, and she never knew a stranger. Marg was preceded in death by her parents; her oldest brother, Oscar Bell, Sr.; nephew, Oscar Bell; and grandparents, Maggie Bell, Oscar Bell, Lila Camp, and Henry Camp.

Those left to cherish her precious memories includes her three children, Tanakya, Andre’, and Demetris Bell of Columbia; three sisters, Henrietta Geter, Flora (Larry) Staley of Columbia, and Maggie (Herman) Wheeler of Charlotte, NC; one brother, John Wesley Bell of Columbia, SC; nine grandchildren, Destinee, Rayone, Deaundrea, Taniya, Shataria, Markiz, Sakeria, Tanaria, and Jaylon; five great grandchildren, five sisters in law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
