Marcus McCoy Obituary
Marcus D’Amonte’ McCoy was born March 12, 1993, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the son of Fredrick E. Caine and Vanessa McCoy. He departed this earthly life on August 27, 2018.
Marcus was a very God-fearing young man that never complained. His light was too great for the earth and He was called home.
Marcus was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Luke McCoy, and Bill Caine.
In addition to his parents, Marcus leaves to cherish his memories, his three sons, Kingston Elijah McCoy, Elijah Major McCoy, and Chance D’Amonte’ McCoy, all of Columbia; two grandmothers, Margaret Taylor “Ma” and Martha Caine “Grams”; siblings, Ayla Ward, Shetika Ward, and Lucius L. McCoy; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones.
