Malichi Jacobs was born on August 3, 1934. He was the beloved son of the late Roosevelt and Lillie Patterson Jacobs. He departed this life and was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

Malichi was educated in the public schools of Richland County. He retired from Creed Construction after working 40 years. He was preceded in death by all of his siblings and a grandson, Tony Jr. He was a loving husband to Kissie Mae Washington Jacobs for 52 years. Although he is no longer physically with us, his loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all that love and knew him.

Those who will forever cherish fond and precious memories of Malichi are his devoted sons: Anthony (Daisy) Scott, Melvin (Judy) Scott, Andrew Scott, Christopher (Brenda) Scott, Eric “Bee” Jacobs, and Stacy (Denise) Jacobs; his loving daughters, Willistine H. Anderson and Sharon Washington; and his grandchildren: Rayvon, Rashad, Trent, Marquita, Brent, Adrienne, Tesha, Nicki, Keianna, Staci, Eric, Courtney, Darius, Malich, and Logan. He also leaves to mourn his passing, five brothers-in-law: Andrew (Elizabeth), Leroy, Allen (Mary) Washington, Frank (Mae) Taylor, Harry (Dot) Taylor; two sisters-in-law, Estelle Taylor and Mary (Albert) Reese; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
