Lula Mae Goodwin

Ms. Lula Mae Goodwin affectionate known as “NuNu” of Columbia, SC was born on August 4, 1958, in Hopkins, SC. She was the daughter of the late James and Minnie Goodwin, Sr. on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, Lula Mae entered into eternal rest at home.

Lula Mae attended the public schools of Richland County South Carolina. She was a member of Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church. Throughout her life, she made a career in hospitality services. Lula or “NuNu” was a person with a big heart and lots of love. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a great and loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Minnie Pearl Goodwin, Sr., two brothers James “Pop” Goodwin and Mitchell Goodwin.
Ms. Lula Mae Goodwin leaves to Cherish her precious memory her daughters; Wilhelmina Goodwin of Columbia, South Carolina, and Swansetta Goodwin, of Atlanta Georgia, two grandsons; Kijuan Goodwin of Columbia, South Carolina and Brandon Goodwin of Atlanta, Georgia, two granddaughters; Whitney Brown and Kierra Brown both of Columbia, South Carolina, two brothers, Clarence (Patricia) Goodwin of Hopkins, South Carolina, and Benjamin Goodwin, of Columbia, South Carolina, four sisters, Shirley Hingleton, Teresa Goodwin, Cheryl Goodwin, and April Goodwin all of Columbia, South Carolina, one aunt Lottie Mae Adams of Hopkins, South Carolina, six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
