Jessica Sheila Coleman was born to the late Malcolm R. Coleman Sr. and Victoria Robinson Coleman Brown. Shelia accepted Christ at the age of ten years old and remained a faithful and loyal servant until her last breath. She was baptized and served as a member of the Greater St. Luke in her younger years and became a member of Perfecting Faith Church where she was a member until the day of her departure from this earth. She was educated in Richland County Schools and furthered her education at the University of South Carolina where she received a Bachelor of Science with honors. She was employed by the Department of Health and Human Services where she was a Human Services Specialist II, Senior Level Caseworker.
Everyday of her life she lived “Rapture Ready.” She was truly heaven sent. Anyone that spent time with her can attest to the fact that she lived her life to please God and prepared each day for his return. We were given such a beautiful example of how to love and serve God. She had no children of her own but was blessed and trusted to rear many.
Her remaining siblings are Malcolm Ray Coleman, Jr., Carrie Mae Coleman, Gregory (Kecia) Watson, Rosemary Green, Jacquline Morant, and Kathleen (Joseph) Pearson; two aunts, three uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends.
