Jerome Tisdale

Jerome Tisdale was born on January 9, 1962 in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Jenkins Fulton and Johnnie Mae Tisdale Harris. Jerome departed his earthly life on Thursday, August 16, 2018.

Jerome grew up in Columbia, SC where he attended Richland One Public Schools. After high school, he joined the United States Navy where he served for eight years. Jerome enjoyed watching nature and history documentaries and loved reading his bible. He cherished spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Francis K. Harris and nephew, Khalil R. Harris.

Fond memories of Jerome will be cherished by his loving mother, Johnnie Mae Harris; his step-father, Breston (Brenda) Harris; his sisters, Pamela (Kevin) Gantt and Marsha (Vashon) Cunningham; three nieces; three nephews; five great nieces, all of Columbia, SC; and a host of relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
