Jayquan R. Hughes

Jayquan R. Hughes was born Aug. 3, 1999 to Natalie Sease and Johnny Hughes. He departed this life on November 26, 2018 at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. His life was taken away too soon. Jayquan lived in Columbia, South Carolina his entire life.

Jayquan was very low-key and down to earth person who loved his family. Jayquan was full of life and was loved by everyone who meet him. He was surrounded by a huge family that enjoyed his presence when he came around. As the baby boy and the last male in the house, he took care of his mother and sister who looked up to him in every way.  He was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jayquan will be remembered as a happy person who loved his family, a laid-back person who was full of love, a quiet but tough young man who enjoyed cooking on the grill, relaxing, and being with his siblings and cousins.

Jayquan was preceded in death by his aunt Rochell Sease 

Jayquan leaves to cherish his fond memories, his parents, Natalie Sease, and Johnny Hughes; sisters, Nasiya Woods, and P’yuncka Kearse-Peeples; brothers, Izel Shiver, and Issac Shiver, all of Columbia, South Carolina; nieces, Lelia Shiver, Isabella Shiver, Kaloniee Shiver; nephews, Kyson Johnson, Izel Shiver Jr., and Jordan Zayas; grandparents, Nathaniel & Vertell Sease of Columbia, and Purnell Hughes of Orangeburg;  special cousin, DaShawna Sease, and LaToya Sease; and a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved him. He will be truly missed.
