Mr. James Albert Robertson was born January 4, 2950 in Blair, Fairfield County, South Carolina. He was the seventh child born to Jimmie Lee and Pearl Wilson Robinson. He departed this life on Sunday, March 31, 2019.
James graduated from McCory Liston High School. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served in the Vietnam War. He retired from the State of South Carolina where he working in the Department of Mental Health. James also served as a commissioner on the Columbia Housing Authority Board.
James was preceded in death by his parents Jimmie Lee Robinson and Pearl Wilson Robinson; two brothers Lawrence (Span), James Marvin (B/Charles); and four sisters, Charlotte, Amy, Vincent, and Patricia.
Mr. James Albert Robinson leaves to cherish his great memories: two daughters, Rosalyn, and Karmanika Kennedy; one son, Jermaine Kennedy; their mother, Hazel B. Kennedy; six grandchildren, GaQueaceaya (Quea), Alonzo Jr. (AJ), Heaven, Cameren, Kherington (Shug) and Charleigh Ann; a beloved brother, Williw T (Chilli); loving sisters, Thomousenia and Maggie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
