Mr. George B. Caldwell was born in Newberry County to the late George Caldwell and the late Beulah Trapp Caldwell. He entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Prisma Health Medical Center.
Mr. Caldwell attended Zion Canaan Baptist Church. He was educated in Newberry County School District. Mr. Caldwell retired from Stanley Tool Company of Newark, New Jersey.
Mr. Caldwell was preceded in death by three sisters, Edna Toland, Alice Margaret Williams, and Nancy McMorris; one sister-in-law, Sara F. Caldwell; and a brother-in-law, Charles Friend.

Caldwell of Mitchellville, MD; two aunts, Rozella Caldwell and Barberann Caldwell; grandchildren, Qwanda Caldwell of Columbia, SC and Latasha (Michael) Watson of Fort Hood, TX; six great grandchildren, Adareiz Caldwell, Da’Jaria Brown, Izaiyah Caldwell of Columbia, SC and Aubryana Watson, Emory Watson, and Adonis Watson of Fort Hood, TX; two great-great grandchildren, Aayden Caldwell and Zy’Kese Brown all of Columbia, SC; two sisters-in-law, Esther Pickett of Newark, NJ and Lillie Marina of Greensboro, NC; brother-in-law, Gary Toland of Newberry, SC; devoted niece, Daisy Warren of Newark, NJ; devoted cousin, Shirley Pride of Columbia, SC; and a host nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly..
