Florence McMichael was born January 12, 1934 in Neeses, South Carolina to the late Daniel and Mertis Isaac McMichael. She departed this earthly life on July 29, 2017.

Ms. McMichael was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend. Florence possessed a very warm spirit and her doors were always open to family and friends. Florence was well loved and respected in her neighborhood.

She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories: a niece, Shirley Gbandawa, and a nephew, Alvin McMichael, both of Columbia, SC; a granddaughter, LaNekee Garthena McMichael of Red Bank, SC; five great grandchildren: Marquel King Ross, Montrel Felder, Makayla Felder, Makyra Felder, and London Tyler; and a host of other relatives and friends.
