“I’m at peace at last you see, for my Father, He has rescued me. So, find your peace in Him, and you will see, He’s a God that will rescue thee. So please don’t cry and mourn for me, for I’m at rest eternally.”
Mr. Dominique Profit Sr. was born in Columbia, SC. He was the beloved son of Julia Roney and Louis Profit Sr. On Friday, May 10, 2019, Dominique departed this earthly life for eternal rest with God.
Dominique, affectionately known as “Head” or “Domu”, was educated in the public schools of Richland County. He attended A. C. Flora high school. He was a very hard and productive worker.
Dominique lived a full and happy life. He was an amazing father, son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend. He had a smile that would light up the room. He had a heart of gold. He believed in family first. Even if you were a friend or stranger, he considered you family. His loyalty and compassion were beyond what words could describe. He had those innocent eyes as his parents would always say, that would just melt your heart way. He would always say, “I’m Good”.
Dominique was preceded in death by his brother Scottie D. Profit; maternal grandfather Millard Clinkscales and paternal grandfather L.D. Profit.
Dominique leaves to cherish precious memories: his loving and devoted parents Julia Roney and Louis Profit Sr., both of Columbia, SC; son Dominique Profit Jr. of Columbia, SC; sisters Destiny Profit of Columbia, SC and Shakela Profit of Bridgeport, CT; brothers, Kevin S.
