Mrs. Diana S. Durer of 1609 Pincushion Road, Hopkins, South Carolina, affectionately known as “Juicy” and “Lady D” was born October 12, 1958. She was the daughter of Evelyn D. Simmons Elmore and the late James Simmons, Sr. She departed this earthly life on June 24, 2019 at WM Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina.
She graduated from CA Johnson High School in 1976. Shortly thereafter, she went to work in retail for ten years and was a cosmetologist for 18 years. Later she devoted her life to the Home Healthcare field for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Simmons, Sr.; brother, James Simmons, Jr.
