Mrs. Deloris S. Reardon was born January 30, 1956 to the late Francis Sumter Simon and Robert Sumter. She departed this life on November 9, 2018.
Mrs. Deloris, also known as Lois, was educated in the Richland County Public Schools. She attended Booker T. Washington. She was employed at Care Pro Healthcare for 10 years and at 5 and Dime Bingo for over 10 years.
Lois was a woman who was full of life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was strongminded, strong-willed, and determined to be all she was called to be. Lois was also very supportive and dedicated to her husband, kids, extended family and friends. She knew how to put a smile on your face by the words she would say and the things she would do. Mrs. Deloris was a kindhearted, caring, and loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Mrs. Deloris was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael O. Sumter; two sisters, Ada Gardner, and Dorothy Oree; one brother, Freddie White; 2 nieces, Portia Washington and Angelica Livingston; and two nephews, Terry Brown and Samuel L. Brown Jr.
Mrs. Deloris S. Reardon leaves to cherish and honor her memories: her husband of 24 years, Terry Reardon; daughter, Patricia Sumter (Sanchez); son, Henry Sumter (Tonna); stepdaughter, Michelle McDaniel; four sisters, Sarah Parker, Vernell (Eddie) Bellamy, Lillie Thompson, and Mary Lucas; two brothers, James (Evelyn) White, and Robert (Roz) Sumter; seven grandchildren, Kiava, TeKeina, Mattrell, Dominick, My’esha, Isaiah, and Micah; a special best friend of 45 years, Yvonne “Mickey” McKinley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
