Deborah King Obituary

Miss Deborah Lovetta King was born on April 10, 1963, in Philadephia, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of JW Anderson and Bessie Mae Childs. She departed this life on Monday, May 13, 2019. Deborah accepted Christ at an early age. She joined Old Mount Zion Baptist Church in Epworth, SC where she was a faithful member.

Deborah was educated in the public schools of Greenwood County, South Carolina and graduated from Will Lou Gray in Columbia SC.

Deborah was a very loving and kind person who had a passion for nurturing others. She truly enjoyed being around her friends and family, and preparing a good meal for them when they visited her. Deborah was very intelligent and enjoyed spending time with her grandmother as a young child. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She was a go-getter and would give you her last. Deborah made friends everywhere she went and will be remembered for her strength and faith in God and the battles that she endured.  She always shared her love for God to those she encountered.

She was preceded in death by her Grandmother Minnie Lee Childs and her mother Bessie Mae Childs.

Deborah leaves to cherish so many beautiful memories: her life partner, Alexander Graham; three sons: Christopher Anderson, Carlos (Nina) Anderson, and O.C. Anderson; one stepson, Keltravious Nance; 12 grandchildren: Shamarri, Nathaniel, Damaria, Jasmine, Orelya, Cheyanne, Randell, Karma,  Keaton, Princess, Marley Rae and Carlos Jr.; one brother, Desmond (Devonta) Childs; one niece, Deziree Childs; one nephew, Richard Childs; one great niece, Olivia Childs; four uncles: Ernest (Elaine) Childs, Eddie Lee (Elizabeth) Childs, Barry (Michelle) Palmore, Stanley (Jacqueline) Williams; one aunt: Gwendolyn (Michael) Brunson and many other loving family and friends.
