Corey Jamison

Mr. Corey Anthony Jamison was born in Columbia, SC.  He was the beloved of Margie Schoultz and Aaron Jamison.  On Friday, August 24, 2018 Corey departed this earthly life for eternal rest with God at Lexington Medical Center. 

Corey, was educated in the public schools of Richland County.

Corey lived a full and happy life.  He was an amazing father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend.  He had a smile that would light up the room.  He had a heart of gold.  He believed in family first.  Even if you were a friend or stranger, he considered you family. His loyalty and compassion were beyond what words could describe. He was a true Florida State Seminoles and Jacksonville Jaguars fan!

Corey was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Marian and Gilbert Schoultz; paternal grandparents Jessie Pearl and Wallace Watson; aunt Yvette Jamison and nephew Ja’Corion Haygood.

Corey leaves to cherish precious memories: his loving and devoted parents Margie Shoultz and Aaron Jamison of Columbia, SC; son Osirus Jamison of West Columbia, SC; sisters Audrey (Laron Green) McCoy and Destiny Jamison of Columbia, SC and Tiana Jamison and Sarah Steele of West Columbia, SC; brothers Travis (Brittany) Tillman of Japan, Duane (Kenyatta) Schoultz and Sheldon Gilmore of Columbia, SC; nieces Antinisha Harris, T’Asia Boages, Samara Schoultz and Brooklyn Green all of Columbia, SC; nephews Stacey Harris, Tysean Byrd and O’Shea Green all of Columbia, SC; aunts Michelle Shoultz of Savannah, Georgia, Laura Jamison, Amanda Jamison, and Rikki Gabriel all of West Columbia, SC, Lucinda Mcfadden and Gwendloyn Sims both of Columbia, SC and Shannon Randolph of Athens, Georgia;  uncles Keith(Dee) Shoultz of North Augusta, SC; Stacey (Tawanna) Jamison  and MacArthur (Jodi) Jamison both of West Columbia, SC; Lorenzo(Melinda) Jamison of Chester, SC; godchildren Deveiona Taylor, ARrian Taylor and J’acion; as well as a host of cousins and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
