Christopher Jenkins

Bela (Christopher) Jenkins was born in Columbia, SC on April 21, 1961 to the late Samuel Harris Jenkins and the late Carrie Belle Grooms Milligan. He departed his life on October 30, 2018.

Chris attended Kennan High School in Columbia, SC. He worked at Freeman & Associates for 24 years where he enjoyed working. There are so many things I could say about Chris. He has so many friends who knew he would be there if they called on him. Chris was a good father, grandpa, and brother. He enjoyed coaching baseball and football and making everybody laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Morris and two brothers Maurice Jenkins and Bill William Milligan.

Chris leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Jessie Lee Green-Jenkins, sons, Ryan Green, and Jarael Jenkins; one daughter, Crystal Green; grandson, Saquan Robinson all of Columbia, SC; four brothers, Stacy Jenkins, Samuel (Emma) Jenkins, Noah Jenkins all of Columbia, SC, and Kenny Jenkins of Dallas Texas; five sisters, Barbara Jenkins, Beverly (Kenny) Jackson, Sherene Miller, Stephanie Milligan all of Columbia, SC, and Samantha (Steve) Robertson of Greenwood, SC; four aunts, Judy (Mike) Owens, Mary (Johnnie) Roberts, Alice Grooms, and Rebecca Grooms; and a host of nieces and nephews.
