Cheryl was born on July 14, 1957, in St Albans New York. She was a loving child. Cheryl attended schools in Colorado Springs and in Vogelweh Germany. She was a 1975 Jolly Jills debutante and graduated from Wasson High School in Colorado Springs. Cheryl attended Pikes Peak Community College.
Cheryl was baptized at an early age at St John’s Baptist Church. She was a founding member of Solid Rock Christian Church. Wherever the Lord led her, Cheryl sang in the choir.
Cheryl spent most of her adult life in Colorado Springs. She later moved to Alabama. Cheryl is the mother of three girls, Gabrielle Taylor, Rachel Pate Finley, and Dominique Pate and the grandmother of nine.
Cheryl will be greeted in the hereafter by her grandparents, Christiana and Jerry Harps; uncles Howard, Bud, Ishmell, Kenny, Jerry, and Benson Harps; Aunts Mattie Shannon and Aretha Kenney; brother, Russell Cordle; grandmother, Isabell, and father Thomas Cordle.
Left heartbroken are her mother Cynthia Cordle; sister Karen Cordle Jordan (Clifford); daughters Gabrielle Cordle Pate Taylor, Rachel Cordle Pate Finley (Ricardo), Dominique Cordle Pate; nieces Chelsea Jordan, and Maryn Jordan and nephew Pierce Jordan; beloved grandchildren Kristopher Taylor, Airyanna Trammell, Elijah Pate, Jeremiah Finley, Isaiah Finley, Amiya Pate, Brianna Watson, De’Ani Dixon, and Denver Dixon; aunt Annie Ruth Bobo (Charles) and a host of cousins and friends mourn her passing but celebrate that she is now with her Father in heaven.
