Chanta Simuel

Chanta Nicole Simuel was born on August 4, 1985 in Columbia, SC to Bridget Ross Williams and Scottie Hudson Sr. She passed away at age 33 on August 30, 2018 in North, SC.

Chanta attended public schools in Columbia, SC and graduated from Eau Claire High School in 2004.

Chanta lived her life to the fullest and there was never a dull moment in her life. She enjoyed outings with family and friends and always had a high spirit.

In 2016 she moved to North, South Carolina with her soulmate Jerome (Red) Madison. She enjoyed spending time with him and his family.

She was proceeded in death by great grandmother, Peral Garrick; grandmothers, Nancy Simuel, and Patricia Brown; aunt, Talitha Garrick, and great aunts, Elizabeth, Magaret, and Delores.

Those left to cherish fond memories are her mother, Bridget (Johnny) Williams of Columbia, SC; father, Scottie Hudson Sr. of Las Vegas, NV; her daughter, Echanta Golston of Columbia, SC; sisters, Teriante’ (Teri) Williams of Columbia, Rhoshell Hudson, and Sierra Hudson both of Las Vegas, NV, and Nicole Hudson of Rialto, CA; brothers, SPC Kelvin (Aniya) Ross of Kansas and Scottie Hudson Jr. of Rialto, CA; uncles, Lamont Simuel of Columbia, SC, and Fredrick (Linda) Brown of Simpson, SC; aunt, Tiear (Andre) Williams of Elgin, SC, Patricia A. Brown of Columbia, SC, and Teresa Threatts of Houston, TX; her longtime mate, Jerome “Red” Madison of North, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
