Cassandra “San” Wilson was born in Moncks Corner, South Carolina to Johnnie Hutchinson and the late Rannie Taylor. She departed this life October 3, 2018, in Columbia, SC.
Cassandra attended Grace Reformed Episcopal Church. Cassandra graduated from Berkley High School in 1986 and married Jerome N. Wilson in February of 1987.
San was known for her athletic abilities, particularly in softball. She truly lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures; such as video games (Pac-man), watching cartoons, and spending time with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews. However, anyone in her presence was touched by her quick-witted and fun-loving attitude. San was loved by many and will surely be remembered by all she encountered.
Cassandra was preceded in death by mother, Rannie T. Campbell, and her husband, Jerome N. Wilson.
San leaves to cherish her father, Johnnie (Ann) Hutchinson, siblings, Terrell (Elissa) Tillison, Dena Tillison, Reggie Limehouse, Nakeisha (Calvin) Walker, Leslie (Greg) Davis, and Reginald Thompson; children, Shemell Wilson, and Vanessa Wilson; granddaughter, Melanie Walker, adopted grandson, Zamiir Walker, a special niece, Raynah Lykes; and a host of other nieces, nephews, loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and family.
