Bryan Stewart Obituary

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: For the former things are passed away.”

Revelations 21:4

Bryan Patrick Stewart was born on February 17, 1986 in Columbia, SC. He was the beloved son of Patricia Williams and Stephon Williams. He departed this life to be with the Lord October 10, 2018 at 14:46 pm.

Bryan was a graduate of Dreher High School. He was a fun and loving person who was happiest when just hanging out with his children, friends and family members.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin (Isabelle) Mays from Hopkins, SC.

He leaves to cherish his fond and precious memories: his loving and devoted wife, Tara Stewart; loving children, Ja’qier and Kamare Stewart of Hopkins, SC, T’ara, Tykel, and Jay Matthews of Gadsden, SC; sister, affectionately known as baby momma, Nordria C. Williams of Hopkins, SC; niece, Myyah of Hopkins, SC; his parents, Stephon (Patricia) Williams of Hopkins; grandmother, Mrs. Robertine Williams of Hopkins, SC; Mother and Father in Law, Herman (Sara) McPherson of Charleston, SC; brother and sister in law, Germain (John) Lawyer of Charleston, SC; aunts and uncles, Annie Belle (Harold) Dreher, affectionately called second mom and dad, of Irmo, SC, Dorothy Mays, Robert Lee (Cynthia) Mays, David Lee (Francis) Mays, Betty Mays, Annette (Ronald) Goodwin, and Pamela Knighter, all of Hopkins, SC, Alonzo (Sherri) Mays, of Holly Hills, SC, Audrey (Kenneth) Fields of Atlanta, GA, and Simon (Brenda) Jackson of Columbia, SC; and a cousin, affectionately called his big brother, Corey Mayes of Hopkins, SC.

He also leaves to cherish a host of loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom join the family in the grief caused by his departure. Special thanks to Bryan’s loyal friends who endured with him to the end, and to his aunt Dorothy Mays for her tender care of him.
