Bertha Mae Oliver Young affectionately known as “Baby” was born on August 18, 1947, in Girard, Georgia to the late Harrison Oliver and Luvenia Price Oliver.
Bertha was a faithful member of New Ebenezer Baptist Church before her health failed. A dedicated and caring employee of Forest Hills/Brian Center of Columbia working in the Laundry/Housekeeping Department for 25 years. A new job opportunity was offered at Life Care Center of Columbia as a Housekeeping Supervisor. She worked there until she retired in 2005.
Bertha loved spending time with her family, traveling, and listening to gospel music.
Bertha was preceded in death by, one brother, John Oliver, one son, Timmy Young, one grandson, Derrick Osborne.
