Belton Harris, Jr.

Mr. Belton M. Harris Jr. was born January 3, 1953 to the late Ludelle B. Harris and Belton M. Harris Sr.

“Latt” as he was affectionately known by his family, was a 1971 graduate of C.A. Johnson High School. He worked at Providence Hospital and Fort Jackson. Latt really enjoyed fishing, hunting, and eating. You could also find him on the dance floor where he earned the nickname “disco”.

Mr. Belton Harris Jr. was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Olivia Harris Robinson, and Marchelle Harris.

Mr. Belton Harris Jr. leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Latasha Benjamin, son, Antonio Prescott, step daughters, Terrika Howard, and Terriko Charles, two sisters, Myrna Harris and Deirdre Harris, one aunt, Betty Fridy, two uncles, Henry (Dale) Harris, and Donald (Susie) Benson, 3 grandchildren, three good friends, Greyeye, C Rock, and Da’lo, and a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
