Antonio T Myers, Sr.

Antonio Tyrone Myers Sr. was born May 28th, 1971 in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the son of Annette Myers and Willie James Hugee. “Tony” as he was known to family and friends departed this earthly dwelling, for eternal life with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 3, 2018. 

Tony, attended the public schools of Richland County and belonged to the 1989 graduating class of Lower Richland High School. His most recent accomplishment was becoming the owner of “Myers Auto & Towing, in Columbia, SC”. A business in which he took so much pride in being in a position, to help others.

Tony, was a gentle giant with a kind heart, who loved his family and grandchildren. He was known for grilling at family functions. He was a big fellow, but he had a heart that was bigger than his six-foot stature. No matter what it was, and regardless to how he felt he always said “okay”. He made himself available to everyone, whether it was helping plan a family event, cooking on the grill, or giving advice, he was always there. He loved watching his son Jr. play Lower Richland High School Football. He enjoyed going to watch his baby girl Kenni, track & field events. Tony, appreciated spending time with his oldest son Chris on the dirt bike and 4 wheeler. Nothing was funnier than to hear Tony, fuss about his oldest daughter Raven’s having a hot temper like him. He enjoyed picking up his grand kids from school. He adored spending time with his “Chunky Buns (Camora). But most of all he took pleasure in spoiling his wife, “No” was never an option. Anything she ever asked for, he always provided. She affectionally called him “My Teddy Rupxin”. 

Tony, was also proceeded in death by a sister, Shena Myers of Cayce, SC.

Though Tony is no longer here with us on earth, his memory is left to be cherished by his loving wife Loretta Myers, of Hopkins, SC. Beloved parents Willie Hugee of Hopkins, SC, and Annette Myers (Bernard Cunningham), of Hopkins, SC, mother in law Alice Scott-Ogueri, of Riverdale Georgia, two sons Christopher Douglas Priest (Johniece Roseman), Antonio Tyrone Myers Jr , two daugthers Raven Daniela’ Priest of Hopkins, SC, Kennedy Ty’Ronna Alice Myers. Four grandchildren: Madison Green, Camren Green, Camora Green, and Aubree Priest. Two sisters Ranina Myers-Outing of Columbia, SC and Tawanda Hugee of Gadsden, SC, One sister in law Christina Scott, of Riverdale, Georgia, One brother Antron (Sherfonda) Myers of Columbia, SC, One brother in law, Timothy (Clarissa) Scott, of Marietta, Georgia . Special aunt and uncle Dr. Carl & Dr. Sylvia Tilghman of Clinton, MD, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
