Anthony Eric Brown, Sr.

Anthony, affectionately known as, “Amp Brown” was born on October 1, 1966, in Columbia, South Carolina.  He was the son of Mr. James Lee Brown, Sr. and Mrs. Genetta Flemming Brown.  He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 29, 2019.

Anthony Brown, Sr. was raised in the Baptist faith and educated in the public schools of Richland County.

He began his career as an electrician at Cashion Electricians, Inc and worked for 35 years as an on the job trained Master Electrician.

Anthony was preceded in death by his father James Lee Brown, Sr. and a sister Loretta Brown.

Anthony Eric Brown, Sr. leaves to cherish his precious memory two loving sons; Anthony Eric Brown, Jr. and Phenomenal Sincere Green-Brown, two loving daughters Rateisha (Kendrick) Hammond and Vanessa Cheriee Brown, nine loving grandchildren; Zy’Eriah Davis, Zhyan Kennedy, Samaryah Hammond, Kenley Hammond, Kyan Hammond, Bryson Hammond, Brianna Hammond, Shandon Hammond, and Zuri Brown, his loving mother; Genetta Flemming Brown all of Columbia SC, three loving brothers; James Lee Brown, Jr. of Eastover SC, Barry Carter Brown and Dexter Levern Brown, both of Columbia SC, three loving sisters; Shirley Brown of Eastover, SC, Carolyn Rose Brown and Vanessa Ann Brown, both of Columbia, SC, 19 nieces and nephews, 12 great-nieces and nephews, and a host of other friends and family all of whom will miss him dearly.
