Mary Louise Adams Baskerville was born June 21, 1946, in Columbia, SC, the oldest of four children born to the late William and Alice Turner Adams. She entered eternal rest on Sunday. April 7, 2024, at the Prisma Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC.
Mary graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Columbia, SC. and later received her Cosmetology License under the tutelage of the late Mary M. Bethea. Mary later was a dedicated employee with First Citizens Bank where she worked in various departments, until her retirement after dedicated 35 years of service.
Mary was a long-time, faithful, and dedicated member of Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church of Columbia, SC. She was a passionate bible reader and often enjoyed Bible Studies when she could attend.
Mary was a caring and giving person who loved giving advice and helping solve problems for her family and friends. Mary’s spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter, Pemeco (Kinley) Baskerville-Blanding of Columbia, SC; loving sons, Da’Vee’ Baskerville, and Paul (Darleen) Baskerville Jr., both of Columbia, SC; eight grandchildren, Chelesaya Baskerville of Columbia, SC, Cheteka Baskerville of Augusta, GA, Antonius Hunter Jr. of Columbia, SC, Da’Vee’Sha’ (Benjamin] Baskerville-Walker of Columbia, SC, Samuel Green of Columbia, SC, La’Niya’ Baskerville and Da’Vee’ Baskerville Jr. both of Laurens, SC, and Paul Baskerville III of Columbia, SC; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Elder William (Bobby) Adams of Columbia, SC, and Albert (LaCreasia) Parks; two loving sisters, Twinda Anderson and Patricia Dreher, both of Columbia, SC; three Godchildren, Tierra Wright of Charleston, SC, Michael Richardson and Vernon Richardson, both of Columbia, SC; and a host of special grands, extended family and friends all of whom will truly miss her.
