Wilfred Salters, Sr. gained his heavenly reward on Thursday, June 8, 2017. Born December 8, 1962, Wilfred shared 27 of his 54 years with his loving wife, Thelma, raising their family together in Columbia, South Carolina.

Many will remember Wilfred as loving, dedicated and hard working; but everyone knew him as one of the biggest Dallas Cowboy fans! His clients treasured his dedication and work ethic as a certified heating and air conditioning technician. For more than 25 years, he was employed by Midlands Air and for five years with the University of South Carolina, ultimately becoming an independent contractor.

Wilfred was a family man, always making everyone happy and keeping s smile their faces. His heart could be found in the warmest of actions with the sweetest intentions. All who knew him will sincerely miss his genuine spirit.

His is predeceased by his father, Fred Samuel; mother, Sara Jane Salters Samuel; and his brother, Steve Salters.

Those left to cherish precious memories include: his wife, Thelma Salters; three children: Brittany Johnson, Khaliah Seawright and Wilfred Salters, Jr.; five grandchildren: Jayda Coleman, Mikayla Boyd, Madison Boyd, Lory Prince and Liam Salters; and his sisters: Cindy Salters, Ann (Willie) McMillian and Gail (John) Koon Williams.  He also leaves to mourn his passing sisters- and brothers-in-law, aunts and uncles, a host of nieces and nephews, other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
