Sweet Eva Roseborough
November 10, 1943 ~ May 4, 2017 (age 73) 73 Years OldMrs. S. Eva Roseborough, affectionately known as “Alice,” was born November 10, 1943 in Blythewood, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Beatrice Kelly. After an extended illness, she peacefully fell asleep in death on Thursday May 4, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland. Mrs. Roseborough was predeceased by her loving husband, Charles Roseborough.
“Alice” was educated in the Richland County public schools. She retired from Richland County School District Two Schools after many years of dedicated service. She will be missed because she was well loved by her family and friends.
Mrs. Roseborough was baptized as one of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. She faithfully attended the Spring Valley Congregation until her health declined.
She leaves to cherish loving memories: three daughters whom she loved very much: Bernice (Mercer)Solone of Columbia, South Carolina, Henrietta (Horacio) Chavis of Lexington, South Carolina and Jacquelyn(Lee Roy) Davis of Columbia, South Carolina; one stepson, Todd Roseborough; five grandchildren: Bryon Kelly of Denmark, South Carolina, Vernon (Jessica) Kelly of Charlotte, North Carolina, David (Jameelah) Martin of Columbia, South Carolina, Joshua (Hope) Kelly of Blythewood, South Carolina and Kimberly (Cantrelle) Davis, of Columbia, South Carolina; and six great-grandchildren. She also leaves: one uncle, Frank (Sally) Mack; one aunt, Mary Baker; two sisters-in-law, Betty Garvin and Janice Roseborough; one brother-in-law, Maurice Long; a very special friend of the family Diane Wilkes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
