Ronnie Manning was born December 8, 1959 in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the second of seven children born to Corthen Jr. and Mary Virginia Manning. He departed this life on Monday, December 4, 2017, just days shy of his 58th birthday.

Ronnie was a proud Shamrock! He was a 1978 graduate of Eau Claire High School in Columbia. Upon graduation, he began working at Providence Hospital in the housekeeping department, where he remained a dedicated employee for more than 20 years. During his time at Providence, Ronnie rose to the position of supervisor, of which he was very proud. After retiring from Providence Hospital, he worked for Fort Jackson Lodging for about two years. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Courtyard Columbia. Ronnie attended Pine Grove Community Baptist Church in Ridgeway, South Carolina.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Corthen Manning, III who passed away in June 2012 and Brian Keith Manning in January 2015.

Ronnie leaves to cherish precious memories and special times, his parents, Corthen and Mary Manning, Jr.; a brother, Kevin Manning of Columbia, South Carolina; three sisters: Kathy Drayton and Virginia Green, also of Columbia, and Tresha (Lloyd) Sterling of Chester, Virginia; two nephews, Courtney (Crystal) Drayton and Cameron Sterling; three nieces: Latoya (Darrell) Guider, Tyeisha Manning, and Sienna Sterling; a grandnephew, Keishaun Drayton, and two grandnieces, Ziyonna and Ijia Guider; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and caring friends.
