Tameka & Family,
Perest "Byrd" as he was affectionately known, was like family to us. He was a part of the Bragtown family where the guys were so close, they were more like brothers. Everybody loved him! We are all in shock & disbelief to hear of his passing. But God in His infinite wisdom knows what's best. You all are in our hearts & prayers.

Special thoughts and prayers going out to Perris, my brother, my friend, my brother Rodney's best friend, and one of the Bragtown boyz. Bird, as we called him, passed unexpectedly last week and many many hearts are broken. Bird was a man of honor, if he loved you, he loved you fiercely with no limitations. Please pray for him, his daughter, his friends here in Durham who loved him because of that kindred spirit and kind heart;and all the members of his family who are now struggling with his loss.God has a plan for all of us, and I trust that even though we all will miss him very "very" much because of that beautifil spirit and welcoming demeanor, God's plan has been fulfilled as another angel has been chosen. RIP my brother, we love you.

So lost for words, still in disbelief. Praying the good Lord bring strength and peace to our family as we get through this difficult time. Missing you like crazy, but I can not be selfish for God knows the plans he have for you. To be absent from the body means you are present with the Lord and he loved you first!
