Ms. Nancy Isabell Davis, a long-time resident of Columbia, South Carolina, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, the 25th of July, 2017 at Magnolia Manor. She was born June 23, 1932 in Winnsboro, South Carolina to the late Means and Farnell Davis.

Ms. Davis was educated in the Fairfield County School District. She worked various jobs throughout her life. She retired from the Elite Epicurean Restaurant in 1974. She was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at the Church of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, where she remained a faithful member until her health failed.

Ms. Davis enjoyed going fishing with her sisters: Rebecca, Ella, Ethel and anyone else they could talk into taking them fishing. The challenge was to get a driver who would be willing to drive them and be forced to stay out there with all night.

Ms. Davis preceded in death by her parents, Mans and Farnell Davis, a son, a grandson, eight sisters and six brothers.

She is survived by her seven children: Robert Lee Davis, Mary Davis, Dorothy Addison, Dianna (Willie) Johnson, Nancy Addison, Bridgette Addison and Randy Davis; her sister, Mary Ann Lighten; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
